Your vision fills with light---first the familiar blue light of your technology, then a black emptiness between dimensions, and then. A burning sun and scorching desert sands. A promising sign, but who needs promise? You knew you'd land in the right place.

You hop out of your transit pod, absolutely not dressed for the occasion in all this black leather and wire, and stride across the desert sands. Your head is held high with purpose as though you're the king of this land, but no. You're just going to pay him a visit.

Villagers stare. Guards glare. This could get troublesome, but luckily, your resemblance to someone these people trust buys you enough time to reach the throne room. You make your grand entrance, dueling arm at the ready...and lock eyes with him.

Atem. The pharaoh you'd vaulted yourself across time and space and life and death for. He sits proudly on his throne, as if born for such a place...yet he rises to greet you. And his smile matches your own.

It's finally time to duel.
