Does the oppression remain? Lessen now he's agreed? Grow stronger? The responses they have to Elidibus' presence are things he intends to note, albeit mostly in silence.

"I am Elidibus." The train's roster, if these 'gentlemen' have access to them, says as much. "I have existed for many millennia so forgive me if I don't give an exact age. My kind are immortal. As to my length of time in the void..." The Ascian muses momentarily. "Since I believe you refer to the voidspace which our craft travels through, I believe today would be the sixty-ninth day. Unless you have kept me unconscious for longer than I presumed. May I know the date to confirm?"

He asks politely. But he also does so with a reason that has nothing to do with seeming to strike with a barb; he's curious about the date system outside of the Voidtrecker Express and whether it matches what is used for life on the voyage.

But after a suitable pause to receive an answer he continues. "I know not what method you use to label my Star. Mind kind have used our own system and governance for the alternate realities which we're aware of."

There is another moment before he adds as an afterthought.

"I would like to know whom I am speaking with as well, if you please."
