So they're wrapping up. Jake quietly weighs this for a moment. The fate of the vessel and his new allies are in these detectives' hands, and though he knows others are going through this process...he hopes they're all making the right choice.

That he's making the right choice. It would be a very Peralta move to screw things up almost immediately, he can almost hear Terry saying in his head.

"I know you're acting as detectives too, and that you have more evidence coming. And having been on your side of the bench...I just hope you'll keep an open mind. I haven't known these people long, but everyone I've met means well and is doing everything they can to help. That's the best kind of squad, and I wouldn't want to see us broken up."

He attempts a meaningful glance at the blank faces one more time. "Thank you."
