MEMORY SHARE: 12 OF BEETROOT EVENT (May)

JEMA'GRETHY MEMORY SHARE

The caves of Jema'grethy will allow for a few different ways for memories to be interacted with. But for most, such as those entering in bonds, it will be seen like a vision in their head, putting them in the position and perspective of whose memory it is.

For people sharing bond memories, and also memories being shared while moving through the Memory Cave, this is the spot to place said memories! It's not necessary if you'd like to write it during the thread, but hopefully convenient for others. Just make a toplevel with your character's name in the header, and remember to include any content warnings thereafter for each memory, as applicable!

You're walking along a well-worn path through what looks like a desert landscape. Mostly rocks and dark dusty earth, with a few stunted trees, bushes, and patches of grass that have managed to take hold in the area scattered around. It would be depressing if one didn't know that there were fields leading into a great forested area within a day's walk.

You aren't going to the forest, though, you're heading for the mountains, where the grass and trees lessen and most of the living creatures are particularly hardy fish and equally hardy Miqo'te and Roegadyn.

Speaking of Miqo'te, it's not long before a small village comes into sight, sitting just across a river just wide enough to make crossing without a bridge inconvenient--luckily there's a bridge nearby so that you don't have to wade across it, you just have to get past the dark-haired cat-eared woman standing on the other side.

"It's 'bout time you returned!" she scolds you angrily, stomping over to yell at you from a closer distance. "You should have been back bells ago and--wait, you aren't Rhiza..."

"I'm not," you confirm, trying not to laugh as she peers at you, trying to figure out why you aren't the person she thinks you are.

"Don't tell me--Zeka? By the Twelve, it is! Mixti, Mitthe, one of you get your father!" Two young women with huddled together outside a nearby hut look up in response to their name, glance at you, then break apart as one heads deeper into the village, presumably in search of her father.

Things are a little unclear for a bit, a jumble of excitement and people and excited people as you're 'allowed' into the village, reuniting with people you left so long ago to go find adventure who are happy to see you've really returned alive and well. It's when you encounter the two girls once again--your just-barely-younger sisters--your parents, and the apparently wayward brother Rhiza that things become clearer again.

K'Mitthe and K'mixti would be almost identical were it not for completely different hairstyles and body art, Mitthe preferring a long high ponytail and Mixti sporting a braid. Both them and K'rhiza are equally as red-haired as you and your parents, though you're the odd one out with one green eye among everyone else's pairs of gold.

"I told you I would visit," you say, trying to avoid crying when your mom starts. "I promised. Where is Migmi?"

"Out on a walk," one of the girls volunteers.

"With her beloved," finishes Rhiza, receiving an elbow in the ribs for his trouble, courtesy of Mitthe.

"As she's allowed to," his sister adds, gently jabbing the spot again with her finger. You can't help but laugh, a few tears slipping out when you realize you missed all the interactions that led to this relationship. But they're still your family and they still remember you.

"I missed all of you so much."
